Italian Sephora and Kiko Haul

Sephora and Kiko. Two shops which are hard to reach for dutch people. Sephora dissapeared from the Netherlands a few years ago and Kiko was nowhere to be found in the Netherlands until recently the first shop was opened. Unfortunately this shop is quite some distance away from me. A week ago I went to Italy and visited both Sephora and Kiko. Here is what I bought in the Sephora and Kiko!

FOTD - Electric Carribean

A while ago, in september, I was at Sephora in Milan. Of course I couldn't resist checking the Urban Decay shelf and I fell in love with what I saw there. My attention was drawn to something else than the Naked palettes, instead in the shelf was a beautiful colour-splashed palette displayed. I am talking about the Urban Decay Electric Palette. I took this baby home with me and it has been well loved ever since. Today I  made a look with this palette!

P.s. I apologise in advance. Me and my camera had a little fight going on and most of the pictures are not perfectly clean and a bit blurry 

My last few weeks in Insta-land

Instagram: A social media network which allows people to share their pictures, or post a short video, put filters over them and caption them. I LOVE IT. The day I made my Instagram account, I became addicted to it. My Instagram account found his life 43 weeks ago and since then I have posted 243 pictures. Oops. My account is private and I will keep it that way. Maybe if this blog becomes a bit of a success, I will make an open one.

Although my account is private, I have no problems with sharing some of the pictures here! Since it is a long time ago from my last ''beauty and lifestyle'' related post, I will show you the last weeks of my life in Instagram pictures!

Long time, no see!

Oh oh oh, last blogpost was 14 October.. BAD SANDRA! 

I owe you an apology for my absence the last month. I have been extraordinary busy. I work 3 days in the week from 8 to 5, when I get home, because of the wintertime, I don't have good lights to take pictures anymore. The days I don't have to work, I am busy with school work or going to school.

I hope to put some articles up in the next few weeks. My plans for the remaining days of the year are very exciting! I will work (of course) I will go to the hairdresser and the best thing: In December I will leave these borders and fly to Italy again. I will stay there one week and become a happy person at Sephora and Kiko ♥

Some Halloween insta pictures

October has started, and shops have started to sell all kinds of holiday stuff already, christmas decoration, christmas lights and St. Nicholas stuff. All those things are celebrated in December. October is confused and is tricked into thinking it is December already. But before you can put up all your christmaslights in the christmastree, there is another holiday that is often forgotten here in The Netherlands.. Halloween!

For me, Halloween is make up walhalla. I can do lots of scary but still creative things. Up until now I've made some Halloween inspired make up looks, and I captured them on an Instagram picture. If you are curious keep on reading!

Make up haul

Sometimes things happen. Things like shopping. It's not a secret I sometimes like a bit of hardcore shop untill you drop. So a few days ago I went to Utrecht and decided I could treat myself with some stuff that was already on my wishlist for some amount of time. I went at the MAC store and I now have an even longer wishlist than the wishlist I came in with. What can I say? Shit happens, especially when you love lipstick (and make up in general!)

FOTD- Hello Autumn!

It's Autumn again. The leaves are falling and the skies are turning grey. Autumn is THE perfect time to snuggle up in a blanket on the couch with a cup of hot chocolate milk with lots of whipped cream, or to go for a walk in the forest. With a coat on. Because it gets cold! I am already cold, so soft and warm socks are already found on my feet.

What also comes with Autumn is darker make up! Yes! Burgundy red lipsticks and soft smokey eyes, I love it. Today's face of the day has it all.

Review Essence liquid ink matt eyeliner

Matte. A word that is very common in beautyworld for a long loooong time. I remember reading about matte nailpolish, and walking into the Sephora (while the Sephora was still in The Netherlands, R.I.P Sephora, you are missed) and asking for matte nailpolish. After that, the hype for matte things became more and more. Soon every brand brought out matte lipsticks, matte bronzers and matte eyeshadows, name a product and they have it in matte version.

Since the matte hype isn't over yet, Essence released a matte liquid eyeliner in the new assortment together with a high-shine eyeliner. I found it very interesting and decided to pick up the eyeliner and write a review about it. The following content contains my verdict on the Essence Liquid ink matt eyeliner.

FOTD- Vintage Romance

Sleek's Vintage Romance palette has already been out there for quite a while now. This palette contains 12 gorgeous warm colours, such as gold and bronze, but also some purple based eyeshadows. I couldn't keep my eyes of it when I finally received it in the mail last year! I already had a lot of use out of this palette, but for some reasons (new purchases and so) I never reached for it anymore, until I came across a look with a few gorgeous colours yesterday, that matched the colours in Vintage Romance perfectly. It made my heart warm up again and I decided to reach for this very romantic palette again.
